Do I want what's good for my child or what's best?

As a parent, we always want what's best for our child. We want them to be successful, happy, and healthy. But sometimes, we may have a different idea of what's best for them compared to what they want.

For example, we may want our child to pursue a certain career path because we believe it will lead to financial stability and success. However, our child may have a passion for something else entirely, like music or art.

So, the question arises - should we want what's good for our child or what's best for our child?

It's important to remember that what's "best" for our child may not always align with our own personal beliefs or values. Ultimately, our child should have the autonomy to make their own decisions and pursue their own passions.

However, that doesn't mean we should stop guiding and supporting them. We can provide guidance and advice, while also allowing them to make their own choices. It's about finding a balance between our own desires for our child and their own desires for themselves.

At the end of the day, our child's happiness and well-being should be our top priority. Whether that means encouraging them to pursue a different career path, supporting their artistic endeavors, or simply being there for them in moments of uncertainty, we must always want what's good for them.
